Ines Chattas

InesChef/owner Ines Chattas’ vibrant cuisine, polished professionalism and attention to detail comes from 20 years of culinary experience. Her sense of welcome, of caring for guests by providing outstanding service and the dishes that speak to your heart comes naturally.

Born in Buenos Aires, Chattas comes from a warm, far-flung extended family with “such a mix of backgrounds that I was exposed to so many different foods and traditions — my great grandma Nani’s apple strudel and Jewish holiday meals, my Grandma Mona’s rice pudding, potato gratin, arroz con pollo, and crab mayo, my dad’s paté and Cafe de Paris butter for the steaks, grilled kidneys and weekend asados, my stepdad Pepe’s Syrian cooking, my mom’s veal scaloppine, deviled eggs and flan. And I cannot forget my Aunt Susana who lived in France. My seasons staying at her house and the exposure to all those amazing French foods and ingredients. They all leave their imprint.” Ines wants Open Kitchen guests to feel the same way, like you’re coming home.
